About Julianne
It’s been six years since Australian designer Nicky Adamo spotted a gap in the lingerie market for vintage inspired intimates in luxe fabrics and launched Julianne’s first collection. Evoking memories of the silver screen and a bygone era, Julianne offered updated classic silk and lace intimates for the sophisticated modern girl. Adamo’s objective was to offer luxurious indulgence every day.
Several seasons on, Julianne’s first ever piece, the signature Aimee Chemise, a bias cut silk chemise with French Leavers lace on the bust and hem and the signature bow detail remains a firm favourite with buyers and customers, of some of the most famous stores in the world including Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Fred Segal and Barneys.
Inspired by Adamo’s love of classic cinema and Sicilian heritage, the Julianne Intimates range is comprised of exquisite camisoles, gowns and chemises adorned with stunning French and Italian Chantilly laces and vintage-look cotton laces. Each piece in the collection not only looks divine but the use of sumptuous silks and seductive sheer silk georgettes give a luxurious feel on the skin.
Following discovery that her clientele were not only wearing Julianne chemises in the boudoir, but as cocktail dresses or even at the office, a ready-to-wear collection was launched in February 2009.
Julianne Black Label comprises softly tailored dresses, blouses and tops in Julianne’s signature laces and luxe fabrics to complement the Julianne intimate’s collection. The focus of the collection is stand alone statement pieces in sexy but sophisticated cuts for a customer that appreciates effortless glamour.
Julianne Boutique was launched in 2009, offering the complete Julianne collection at: www.julianneboutique.co.uk so now everyday luxurious indulgence is only a click away.
